Why should we choose you instead
of taking a local photographer?

There are some advantages to not booking a local…

A local colleague who always works at the same location will always photograph the same thing and will deliver the exact same images as on his/her website. A destination wedding photographer is at his best in unknown situations and will let his creativity speak…
And let’s be honest! If you can take your favorite wedding photographer with you on this once in a lifetime adventure, then this is part of the wedding experience!

A destination wedding photographer is more expensive than a local photographer. Or is it?

Do you have to pay extra travel and accommodation costs? Yes. This is separate from the photography price, because we are often on the road for 3 days to do a day report of a wedding. Expenses must of course be reimbursed.

But actually the preconceived idea of a bridal couple – that those extra costs should be a ‘no go’ to choose a destination wedding photographer – is a complete misconception.

With local photographers in popular foreign destinations, their daily price for photography will often be higher than my price. Therefore, the total price will often be similar or even cheaper. Therefore, request the wedding brochure without obligation to discover why a local does not always have to be a logical choice…
